Specialist Engineering Profile

Common Foundation Training on Unix, Solaris, Windows, Oracle & SQL and Linux prepare you for the role of a system administrator with the option to specialise in:

Windows Specialization
Learn administration, troubleshooting and demonstrating enterprise usage of windows infrastructure. The module also includes introduction to MS server 2008, active directory, DHCP, DNS and implementing and configuring groups and policies.

Networking Specialisation
Learn introduction to networking, basic and advanced study of network protocols, knowledge of switches, VLANs and Inter-switch trunks, information on RSTP, switches, router study, EIGRP concepts VLAN based ACLs.

Linux Specialization

Solaris Specialization
Learn multiple aspects of Solaris operating system including: Solaris virtualization,volume management, ZFS, Hands Free Installation, advance patch and package management, backup domains and high availability Software Engineering Profile Common Technical & Domain Training in the area of Software Testing and Application Support and Maintenance prepares you to provide high quality technical software support and maintenance.

Software Engineering Profile

Software Testing
Understand different levels of testing and concepts related to software testing life cycle. Students also learn usability testing and evaluation, performance testing and load runner.

Application Support and Maintenance
Students undergoing this specialization are expected to have a thorough knowledge of Applications Architecture including: Oracle Architecture, 3 Tier Architecture and Syntax Elements, DDL, DML, SQL Plus, Unix Directory Structure, VI Editor, File Parsing etc.
